Here are some of the frequently asked questions but believe it, we have had many more so, if you don't see one on the list, just email us and we will do our best to answer your question.
Can the plaques go outdoors?
Yes, our plaques and signage can go outdoors as they have a final coat of polyurethane to protect them from the
weather.
How many words can I put on a sign?
This answer really depends on the plaque or sign. Usually we can fit two first names and a last name for example: John & Mary Smith.
Many of the plaques are large enough that we can paint more than just a name, however, you really don't want to crowd the lettering.
If in doubt, just email.
What are the plaques made of?
They are made of a variety of woods such as white pine, white cedar, spruce and oak.
Will the plaques by okay outdoors after a year?
It is good to recoat your plaque with a water based polyurethane after a couple of years, if it remains outdoors all year long. Many of our plaques are on their 3rd, 4th and even 5th years without any recoating.
Do I have to use one of your sayings or can I make up my own?
Yes, we will personalize your plaque with one of your own sayings as long as it is in good taste.
Who chain saws the plaques?
Dino, Sr. or Dino, Jr.
Who paints the plaques?
One of the family members.
Do I get a discount for ordering a quantity?
We sometimes offer a discount on large orders, but we handle this on an individual basis depending on the amount of signage and the types, so email if you have a large order.
Do we do custom orders?
We love custom work!
